For many families, fall is synonymous with apple picking. On the drive upstate, we admire the city buildings that drift into brightly colored splotches of orange and red autumn trees. The air, so different from home, becomes crisp. As I prepare to move away, next year may be the first fall without our beloved tradition. To preserve this memory I created this piece, the epitome of autumn and the joy of spending time with loved ones. I look forward to creating new traditions like these adventures spent searching for apple pie morsels.
