This marketing graphic was created for the Marc Jacobs Back-to-School Contest. I used mixed media to promote the perfume, Daisy by Marc Jacobs, in a new light. I wanted to juxtapose how a polished cosmetic product can be enhanced through a hand-made approach. I began with a pencil sketch of the bottle and then transferred it to a piece of linoleum. I organized colored paper to act as the different materials on the product. The finishing touches, like the solid background, were added digitally to maximize the graphic nature of an advertisement. My winning artwork was displayed at Macy’s Herald Square location during October, 2022.
